Camp Writing Circles

These circles are only for those enrolled in Summer Writing Camp. Please read fully before reserving your space.

During camp, each participant may join:

• 1 circle midway through camp

• 1 circle at the end

Spaces are limited. Please sign up only if you are confident you can attend. There are currently two date options below, and based on demand, more may be added.

How Circles Work:

• Bring one piece of camp writing to read aloud and receive feedback.

• You may bring a raw, just-written piece or one you’ve applied an Editing Deep Dive to.

• The feedback process is fully guided by Amanda in her lens-based methodology.

• Circles last 2 hours on Zoom. Please plan to stay for the full session.

• Your Zoom link will be emailed 1 hour before the circle.

Getting Ready:

• Type your writing for ease of sharing and email to amandaaileenfisherart@gmail.com no more than 2 hours before the circle.

• Translations (into English, Spanish, or German) are welcome but optional. Amanda will also guide a way to listen “beyond The Word.”

• The Zoom room opens 5 minutes early. Please arrive on time so we can begin together.
